i just got one type x installed today and i'm surprised. and i only am running it at 500rms for right now til i get my other amp. i've never heard a type r before tho. i'd say the r's because twice the surface area

well i want two subs but right now i can only afford one type x but if i get some more money id jus get two type x 12's or 10's some idiot is gonna buy my 2 xplods and qlogic box for 450 lol ..............2 type-r's are 230 dollars im trying to see what kind of deal i can get for two type-x's around like 425 would be nice

ebay you can get 2 12'' R's for 220 shipped. they'll for sure be the best out of your choices

ya but if i get 450 from that guy and get a deal for the type-x for around 400 then that wouldnt be bad and it will louder for the car shows haha but if i dont sell my setup for that much then i will get the type-r's i got my last subs off ebay took awhile to get here but it was cheap cant complain

I just found out my friend bought a 12" Type X last night, hes got a Rockford T800 powering it and it sounded really clean but didnt tickle my picke for loudness.
