Ppl on here say that the spl is mainly dependent on install. Ok that just dont make sense to me. A product can either be installed right or wrong. THere is no imbewteen. So how can u say that 90% is install. I would mainly say that your spl and sq depend on

1- Your gear

2-Your box

3-Your battery and alt

Can some1 plz explain how 90% of your spl and sq depend on install?

For SQ, placement and your install is definatly 90% of it.

Your car can only sound so good with out running into issues. You install is absolutly key to setting up a good SQ car.

And again, an SPL car with 15 subs in a shitty leaky box 99% of the time will get beat by a lesser better installed vehicle.

His whole car was a bandpass box. I dont know of anyone that can hot that kind of number on a TL with just 2 15's and 16k of power. Without his install he wouldnt be anywhere near that.
