Subs====Wall-outlet?

ok, maby not the brightest question but...so im not quite 16, and dont have a car so... if i got a system could i rig it up to an outlet somehow so i could at least bump in my room? haha i know u guys know some ways right???

What you could do if you do not have a car is hook your subs to a home audio amplifier or hook it up to a pa amp. You could however take a car battery and hook it up to your car amp, but be aware of hydrogen gas produced by your battery. Lots of options, but the cheapest way is to hook it up to a 120v amplifier.

plate amp for your sub rather than a regular car amplifier

You can either use a plate amp, or a rack amp. For you I'd suggest a plate amp rather than going separates (like I did), full rack gear gets kinda expensive. Look at plate amps at http://www.partsexpress.com, you won't need a whole ton of power like you do in a car either.

i tried useinga deep cycle battery hooked up to a trickle charger.....but though not the smartest due to poison gas, and potential exploding battery....best not done with more than 900 or 1000 watts for more than a few min at a time....to be on the safe side

Yes you can, but your gonna need alot of them, and they are all going to have to have high amperage ratings, and all wired in parelell. Much eaisier to buy an 120vac to 12v power supply that supplies a good bit of amperage. Stinger has something like that, up to 80 amps I believe.
