1 Sundown 2500d or 2 PG 1200.1 RSd's?

I'm currently running one Phoenix Gold 1200.1 RSD to each DD 3512e @ 2ohm's which is the lowest safe impedance with those amps, they have been known to actually be close to 1500RMS. I could switch to the aforementioned Sundown Audio 2500d and run a single amp to both subs at 1ohm. The actual on the Sundown is over 3k with the proper electrical which i do have in place already. Would it be worth switching out the PG's for the Sundown? It would mean an entire new amp rack and shit and not too sure if it's worth the effort as everything on the amp rack is all PG which is cool looking in it's own right, I have no prior experience with Sundown only what I've read here. lulz..... I have other plans for that in another car of mine. Gotta find a 4 channel sundown now.
