1 sub more efficient that 2?

since everyone knows alot about type-r's i had a question. I only have about 3.5 cubes before displancement to work with.

I have 2 12" R's

i was wondering, considering my space, if it would be more efficient to run one instead of 2 subs.

And, if 1, what should the size and port area be? To get as LOUD as possible. I want to use either 4" or 6" aeros. Let me know.

well i dont want a 15. My friends going to give me these 2 12's because i got ripped off for my 15" XXX. So this is all i have to work with. I wanna get 1 type-r loud like Tommyk90.

It will be powered off a 2500D

i'd for sure do one 12 in that amount of space. through testing 1 6'' aero beets 2 4's. so i'd do 2.5 - 2.75 cubes @ 34 with 1 6'' aero for a daily driver

IMO, 1 driver in am ideal box at the same power will be more efficient then 2 in a less then ideal box 9 times out of 10.

All conditions considered, this man speaks the truth.
I suggest what other people have said: sell the 12s and get a 15. It isn't about the amount of speakers you have, it's what you do with them that counts. Find any kid at a school who has "subs", and he'll almost ALWAYS say 2 12" somethings. It seems that to most people more is better, when in fact, more can be less quite easily. You won't have twice the output, so I say to sell the 12s, get a 15, and pocket some cash. Done deal.

Oh, and without trying to **** dick, wanting the same results as tommyk is kinda like a 2nd grade magician wanting to be like david copperfield.
