1 sub for 2000+ watts

a guy i work with has been deciding on what he is going to do. He has hifonics bxi2608d amp, rated at 2600x1 at 1ohm. It probably doesnt do that, but will still be over 2000 watts. He is looking at nightshade, death penalty, btl, audioque hdc subs. He wants either 1 12" or 1 15", ported in 3-5 cubic feet. He listens to all rap, will be for daily driver also. Any suggestions on these subs and he doesnt want to spend no more than $500 on 1 sub. thanks

nightshade would be a good choice, and it would work well in 3cuft

I have one for sale if he is interested. it would be much less than $500 after shipping.

on the audioque hdc315, should he get the aluminum coil for the extra 80 or 90 bucks since it will have over 2000 watts? I hope he goes with the btl, I love my bl's
