1 sub fails to work...

Alright, heres the deal...I realised one of my subs weren't beating at all and I take them out of the box and I find that both of the subs are wired differently..

The working sub is wired just as the guy I bought them from said they should be (THE FIRST 2 IMAGES)

But the one that fails to work is wired differently, with more of a V shape (THE LAST 2 IMAGES).

Both subs were powered by a Profile California 1200 amp. All the fuses are fine and I checked both channels on the working sub and Im sure somethings wrong with the sub.

I was wondering if this way of wiring could have anything to do with the sub not working?

Did you "try" or did you wire it like the other one? It simply a matter of making sure the right wire goes to the right terminal. Get one of them backwards and the sub does exactly nothing.
I did wire it like the other one. I guess I failed to mention it did work for a good 2 months before it stopped responding being wired like it is.
