1 port or 2 ports

I am building a box for my 15 inch RF T1 15. It is 2.9 cubes. I want to port it to 36hz and the RF tech recommended 2 4 inch aeroports at 15 inches. I built the box to specs and was going to use 1 port but they said 1 4 × 10 port would be choking out my 15 and it would be better to use 2. My T1 would be getting 1200 watts. Which is better 1 port or 2?
