Is a 1 ohm stable amp safe? Has anyone had any experiences doing this to get more power.
2) but still 1% or less, which is fine for a subif an amp is 1ohm stable and you go through it then you would have 1-More Power2-More Distortion
and finally less dampin

Answered your own question. Stable means it was designed to do so. Many amps are designed to run down to 0.5 with no issue. Is a 1 ohm stable amp safe? Has anyone had any experiences doing this to get more power.
Could you be more vague... Was the amp designed to run at 1 ohm? Was it setup and ran correctly?no, i have seen amps explode at one ohm leaving nothing of the car but its axles....
Depends on which amp. I ran my zx750.1 @ 1 ohm for around 2 weeks. I handled it fine I guess, but it became much more power hungry, got a little warmer than it did @ 2 ohms, but never became terribly warm. Not to jack his thread, but are kicker amps stable at 1 ohm? the specs don't say so but has anyone had success doing it?

You must be completely blind to sarcasm.Could you be more vague... Was the amp designed to run at 1 ohm? Was it setup and ran correctly?
I'm guessing one of those two questions were answered with a no.
Probably due to the influx of stupid people coming to this forum recently. You must be completely blind to sarcasm.
