1 ohm help!!!!!!

I want to get two orion 2ohm 10" subs rated at a total of 3000w rms and I hifonics amp rated at 2600w rms @ 1ohm. How do I wire the amp to run at 1 ohm or how much rms power does an amp have to be to power these subs? Thanks.

when you wire the subs, just put both +wires togeather and both - wires to geather. that will get you your 1 ohm load.

well just being about 400 watts under isnt too bad you coukd do that. If the 2 orion subs are svc 2ohm then u can jus wire them parallel to get a 1ohm load. If they're dvc 2ohm then you can only wire them to either a .5ohm load or a 2ohm load.

If they are dual 2 ohm subs you wont be able to wire them at 1 ohm.
