1 Ohm FI-Q 12" on the way... how to wire 2 Ohm?

My current ID-Max is a Dual 4 wired 2 Ohm so looking at that I don't think I would need to change anything. Correct???
Incorrect. If you wire dual 1 ohm voice coils in parallel like that, the sub will present a 0.5 ohm load to the amp. You need to wire the coils in series so the amp gets a 2 ohm load.

I wired it up the way you guys said which is simple - : + on one side and the same on the other to power. I guess this is roughly 1300 Watts @ 2 Ohm?
