I would've braced both ways, but for some reason the pieces got cut too long for the vertical ones so I didn't put them in. But honestly, no. I really don't think it's going to matter much. The top is double baffle, and the middle wall is 2 pieces. So I think I'd be fine without any kind of bracing to be honest with you.
