it'sIs that (x + 1) / x = 5 or x + (1/x) = 5? Parentheses are your friend....

I intern at a structural engineering firm and the only math we use there is basic algebra, the rest is just logic and given formulas in which you just plug numbers in..
doesn't take away the fact that it's a required class for a degree..
