1.5 inch diameter wire?

Hey,

I found some wire, It seems to be like industrial sized, like for a power plant or something...I mean this shit is huge, and theres lots of it, it had to be like 1.5 inches in diameter, I thought the biggest was 4/0 (.46 inches) ???

Would it be copper? What is this wire?

i used to work for an electrician place, had some big *** wire, i think the diggest they had was like 1000 mcm

If it's copper (probably is) go sell it at a scrap yard. Copper is expensive as shit nowadays, and you could probably earn a pretty penny from it.

Very good link, looking at that it was either 750 or 1000 MCM...How much is 40 feet worth?
