I just purchased a used 2006 Toyota Tacoma that has an after market 1/4 inch input that is installed on the center console. Does anyone know what this is used for? It is the same input that you would see for a guitar input. I went by a local car audio installer and they weren't sure what to make of it. I have my fingers crossed that I could hook my iPod up to it with a 1/4 inch adapter but I don't want to try to hook everything up and blow the system out. Any help is appreciated.
