Here's the dist block I have...

From what I have read on here, ideally I would go (1) 4 gauge wire from battery to the dist block and (2) 8 gauge wires from the dist block to the amps.
My question is will I be fine running (1) 4 gauge in and (2) 4 gauge to the amps? The fuses will match the wire, so I am good there. The runs shouldn't be that long at all, maybe a foot or two. Just wanted to know if it's okay splitting one wire to two wires with the same gauge?
If it's only overkill, but will work fine, then I'll just do that since I will have 4 gauge wire left over. I don't really see how it could hurt, but I thought I would ask anyways. Been searching around and really haven't found a straight answer.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
