1/2 inch

well the box is already made

i think there is a little difference in between a 15" sub and a 10" sub

if the box falls apart so be it

ill just build another one

I love the trend these days. Some one will ask a question about their plan with good intention. The knowledgeable members on here point them in the right direction.

Then the original poster thinks hey what do they know and does the original planed. Might as well not ask for suggestions or help if your going to not listen and F it all up anyways. Enjoy the improper box man:)

I don't know why that annoys me???

the thing is i have 1/2 laying around so i mine as well try it and if it doesnt work ill just build a new one out of 3/4

and plus i just spent all the money i had on sub and amp and i have $0.00 for building supplies

What size box, how many subs, what subs?
If you use enough bracing, and do it properly, you shouldnt have a problem.

Why cant you use 3/4"?
i made sure it was braced and everything and it seems really sturdy

i guess i need to do things wrong see what happens and learn from it

believe me if i had the money for 3/4" mdf thats what my box would be made out of

That's right Bob, tell him what he has won
An all-expenses paid vacation to the "Audio Idiots Resort", where for seven days you'll relax and debate the finer points of car audio, such as whether or not capacitors really do work, how many dB's you'll hit, and how much Resonant Engineering kicks *** and how much you'd love to own an XXX, if only you could find out where to buy one.

since that box won't be the LAST one you will build. Follow these guys suggestions next time.

so, what'd you use to cut the wood? how'd you secure the pieces, seal it, etc???
