i'd like to run a single 12 to replace the 2 type r's i currently have. hoping to get the same output or better from a single 12 as opposed to 2 12's. my reason is to reduce box size to shore up some room in my extended cab. my thought is leaning towards an fi btl. i would run the sub off my ppi pc2350 that i currently have. 1400 x 1 @ 4 ohms. any suggestions is appreciated.

I am actually having the same delima, I'm switching cars and can only go with one 12" so i'm selling my 2 R's. I'm also thinking about going with a btl or a Q series 12. if anyone has any other suggestions to help us out plz help.

how much space can you use? I have roughly 2.5 cubes after disp. to work with, but i don't know much about the btl's as far as what kind of box or tuning they like.

actually, since i'm building up instead of side to side, i have more than enough for almost any single 12. space is not that much of an issue with 1 12.

my 12 is going in the t-top space of a ***** am so i can't get a ton of room without getting creative on designing the box. Do you have any experience with the btl's?
