Alright I recently purchased a set of Hertz HSK 165's and I'm trying to figure out the rest...

I was thinking

Alpine 9887 also the Sundown 100.4D to complete my front stage with the HSK's.. running active.

I have a single cab truck, 98 dodge ram, need to get some measurments first but..

I was wondering should I go with the second skin damplifier pro door pack for 60$ and then go with 40 sq ft of regular second skin for 98$ or go with 62.5 sq ft of RAAMmat for 118$?

Or go with 36.5 sq ft of second skin pro for 160$.

Also need to know about all the wiring and shit too.

Get all Knukonceptz wiring, depending on your amp get either 4 Ga or 1/0 Ga, get your RCA's, fuses and all that crap from them too

Get the 62.5 sq ft od Raammat

I guess you are going for an SQ set up because of the Hertz and going active. If so i will look at some good subs you can try.

Yeah, so just the 62.5 of raammat, or with the SS pro door pack?

Later on down the road I was thinking of doing sundown 1200/1500 with a 12'' Fi BL upgrading all the electrical and doing the big 3..

In this case, you don't NEED to get the 9887 to go active with this. As I understand it, the 100.4D (and 125.2) can go active for you, right?

For SQ look at Any Diamond, Rainbow, CDT subs. the FI Q is the SQ sub from them i think, dont hold me to that. The bostons that the other guy suggested. Or even JL

The Hertz are rated for 125w RMS, so the 125.2 would be perfect. Even still, the 125.2 is underrated. I think I read somewhere that it was putting down closer to 140w each channel at 4 ohm.

And the 125.2 has the improved crossover as well. Pretty sure you can go active with the on-board crossover. Maybe Sundownz (the owner of Sundown Audio) can chime in here? Maybe PM him.
