1/0 Gauge wire ?

Most important spec is the actual diameter of the wire, strand count, and whether it's Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA) or Oxygen Free Copper (OFC). CCA wire is cheaper than OFC, however OFC is more conductive than CCA wire, so if you buy CCA, make sure it's thicker than OFC. Brand name doesn't really matter.

Most reputable brands will be tru 0 gauge. But if you have any worrys you can just ask on here someone will know if it is real 0 gauge.

it is but u can get kicker hyperflex cheaper on egay and it is better by quite a bit

Knu KLMX is actually oversized 1/0. You'd be better off with the Fleks from Knu, or the Hyperflex if you can find it cheaper. I've never seen Kicker Hyperflex cheaper than Knu KLMX...even on Ebay.

the hyperflex on ebay is usually 80 or so shipped people link it all the time and its ofc copper and **** good for the money the better the wire the better everything is.

klmx is cca and not as good as ofc

The KLMX CCA isn't as good as OFC, it's not meant to be. Knu says right on their website that it's meant for applications that aren't calling for the full standard OFC current draw. To compare the KLMX to the Flekx or even Kicker's Hyperflex is like comparing apples to oranges. Two very different products designed for two different applications.

As long as he's not planning on trying to run 250+ amps through the wire the KLMX then it would be alright to use and save him a few dollars. He's not mentioned the application for which he's intending to use the wire, so we can't say for sure. I concur however, that if the OP has the money to spend on it the Knu Flekx or Kicker Hyperflex would definitely be the better product. If he's on a limited budget though and his application won't be higher than the intended loads on the KLMX, then what would be wrong with using it in it's intended application?

Sorry for the long post, just thought it would be good to remind everyone of design and purpose.

not at all and i totally agree

i couldnt find the stupid link for the kicker wire and at 1.75 a foot the klmx is great stuff i have used it a few times when a customer supplied it.

Thanks all for the replies and help. Just bought a Memphis mcd1000d to run 3 10" JL w6v1, and still looking to find a 2000+ rms to run my 2 12" L7 dual 4.
