1/0 gauge=0 gauge??

Hey all, i ordered 1/0 gauge wire from knukonceptz, and i want to know is this 0 gauge?? in other words, is this as big as it gets, because i measured it up to the wire on my amp which is 0 gauge and it looks a little bit smaller..

what do you mean the wire on your amp? and yes 1/0 is as big as it gets without going welding wire

Well the shop i got the amp from installed the amp with 0 gauge on to my power cap, and he said i'd need to upgrade my 4 gauge from the battery to 0 gauge, so i ordered 1/0.

yes 1/0 is 0 guage... basically it just stand for 1 zero (0). and for 2/0 guage it would stand for 2 zeros (00), and 4/0 would be 4 zeros (0000)
