08 Civic...running new wires to components

Anyone done it?

Where do you route them through the front door?

Seems next to impossible to fish through the stock grommet.

Running 125 Watts RMS, so I didnt wanna stay with the stock junk.

DUED I tried it ina 1996 honda civic there is not hose to route them threw it is a slot wiring block not a good idea we screwed up some stuff trying it. ended up tying into the rear of were the head unit is and ran wire from there to the amp.

those cars are 12 years apart unless you have done one your information has not relevance

try to sitck a lothes hander thru, tape the wires to it and rip it back through

I have not only worked on a lot of civics I have test drove them to i checked the door and I also have read articles it is the same thing.

Got it done.....real PITA, but worked out sweet!

Had to dilodge both grommets (door and frame), pull out the harness as far as possible, and use a RC car antenna tube to fish my string though. The boot has a natural curve and a 90 degree bend at the body side, making it really hard to get through. The square blocks that were mentioned are simply plugs and sockets, but below them in the same grommet is some room..............
