umm 7.15 an hour dude. got $2000 in the bank and dropped $6000 on the install and $2300 on the rims and grill. i work 7 days a week to afford that. as for getting the car well i get good grades and my family does ok but were by no means loaded.

so you work what 22 hours average every week?

the box, wall,beauty plate and frame to box were all done using threaded bolts with t-nuts installed in the back of whatever the back piece was. Nothing including the mounted sub is just a screw into wood. therefore everything was drilled and aligned for installation and nothing is going anywhere.

as jealous as i am.. and wish my parents were like yours its not happening my parents try what they can and im thankful

this makes me jealous. i don't understand why parents by their 160 year old kid a car like that, but that is some extremely nice work. And the car looks very good.

And you don't need to explain why you have the car to anyone man, you are fortunate to have gotten it for free, but you make goods grades and all so you kinda deserve it.

I wish my parents could afford to buy me a car like that. If I make good money when I have kids, I'd definitely buy them nice things. There's no reason to jump on him just because of his parents. There's nothing wrong with that. At least he paid for the install and accessories himself.

Although how in the world did you ever spend 6K on that audio setup? It doesn't add up even if you paid full MSRP.

The install looks damn good so far; keep up the good work. Any numbers/vids?

I plan on making the center armrest a blow through with white led's to light up the sub. Wood has to be cut from the seat as well as a custom square ring ill fb and have painted pearl white to give the edges a clean look. again time is of the essence

ok pricing seems to have you guys wondering ill lay it out here. i did pay somewhat full retail as i wanted factory warrantys.

Hu: $650 online, video cable was $60 and dash kit was $50

Sub: $1200

Amps: Jl 1000/1v2 $1200 and the Hd 600/4 was $800

Speakers: 165 vr $500 and cvx $250

Capacitor: tsunami 20 farad $200

Deadener: $160

Wire: Kicker pd1 1/0 kit was $125, stinger 14 awg 125ft $65, stinger 10awg $15

Rca: kickers 4 and 2 channel $65 but now have jl so $160

Wood: 3 sheets of 3/4 mdf $90

Glue: $8

Suede: black,tan and carmel (3 yards each for future plans) $180

Hardware: screws,beauty caps,t-nuts,grommets,wiring accessories etc.. $185

this doesn't include new blades for saw, router blades, spray 7, wire ties. everything adds up when its on your dime. the equipment alone was not 6k the install was that
