I see now...I see where that would ****...I wouldn't throw it away. You tuning will be higher. Do you have 2" x 17" you can glue to it?

This sounds like a case of only child syndrome to me. See only children not only get mad (read pissed) at everything, but anyone who tries to help, they get mad at as well. Reading the posts around here you can see that 80 is very well respected. He either made an error, or you misunderstood. Either way, its 45 dollars. Its not the end of the world. He will do you right I'm sure.

I will have to go buy more wood to do it over again money lost time etc.

I am not building the box my friend is he is a busy man. I wasted his time he was pissed of also. He was like wtf this dude makes boxes and can't give the right measurement.

if you did cut the port 2 piece 15x17 instead of 17x17, wouldn't it still fit just fine?

the port would just be 2" shorter and the tuning probably 1Hz higher. you wouldn't hear a difference.

also, if he gave you that pic to work off of, i don't really see how it's his fault.
