i made a box which is like 12'' deep 16'' high and i think 30'' wide. its 2 cubes @ 29. that would fit back there nicely. that box had a 12'' type R. it worked out nicely if your not putting 1200 rms watts at it.

how can u say it will fit nicely when u have no ****ing clue what the trunk is ilike. the trunk has a step up that wraps areound the back 1/4 of the rear rite and steps up almost 4-5 inches total. ur not going to fit shit for a box and have trunk room left. i have like 1.5 cubes SEALED and dont have shit for room. U need the molded enclosure for the side of the trunk. Ford actually has a decent stock system for 2 10's from the facotry as part of the mach stereo, possibly search ebay, or call ford to see how much they will run.

Ford makes custom sub enclosures for 2 10"'s, to fit the 06 Mustang Coupe's wheel wells? Please post link.

* What would be the benefit of going with 2 10"'s opposed to just one 12" as in my initial thought setup?

Found my answer:

A: This is a popular question, and one that's difficult to answer definitively. There are so many factors that come in to play — power, enclosure type and size, as well as your specific vehicle and your individual perception. But, generally speaking, given adequate power the two 10" subs will sound a little cleaner and punch harder because their combined cone surface area yields more sound pressure. The single 12" sub, however, may sound a little deeper.

It was the Mach 1000 system in the Sn-99 stangs. Not the new ones.
