06 Mustang Sub Decision

Any suggestions per the custom fit enclosure which can either be ordered with a 12" MTX and Amp, or empty.

If the suggestion is to no get it, and go with another type enclosure and sub, just to note that I'm not looking to take up all the trunk space, still need to fold down atleast one of the rear seats.

Did you call Crutchfield of Scoche to find out the dimensions? The depth will play an important role deciding what'll fit.

i made a box which is like 12'' deep 16'' high and i think 30'' wide. its 2 cubes @ 29. that would fit back there nicely. that box had a 12'' type R. it worked out nicely if your not putting 1200 rms watts at it.

I put this in my $42,000 Roush Mustang with the shacker 500 system and when I saw the price I figured it was not going to sound good. I hooked this up to my Kicker Sub amp ($300) and this thing will shake the dandruff out of your hair. It will actually make the hair on the back of your neck tingle. I was amazed at the performance of this thing and it sits in the back corner of your trunk so it doenst get in the way. THIS IS A MUST BUY. Any more bass and the glass would break.

Well, I've seen the Boston A. for 191.50 and Alpines for as low as $99. I'm not looking to enter any competions, would assume the Alpines will gve me enough punch for the personal enjoyment?
