Unsure on the difference between a full range/tweeter on my doors.

I have some custom door panels I'm trying to pick my last speakers for. I have Some CDT 2 way components with a 560i crossover that has 3 outputs, woofer, main tweeter and image tweeter. I'm trying to decide if I want to put a 2" full range speaker next to the 6.5" midbass, or if I should have a tweeter in the door. The tweeter from the component set is installed in the pillars aimed at the center part of the windshield. In my head, the full range might sound nice, but there is at the moment a distinct separation between the midbass and tweeters, so I'm thinking I might need a tweeter there to bring it all together.

A simpler setup most always results in better sound.

Now if you're more interested in SPL the more the merrier.
