Just wondering on a couple of things. Not hating btw as I love single sub setups as I had one in my 8th gen civic on about 4k. But why do you have the sub and port facing towards the cabin like that? Are you going to seal it off? If not, youre going to get some cancellation where itll hit a lot harder with the trunk open. Also, I dont see that sub taking 5k very well.

It doesn't take 5k well at all. I have to make the enclosure a little smaller to compensate for over powering it. I am going to do a little to stop the air pull from the trunk but I'm not going to seal it some of the best scores out of trunk were port and sub forward not sealed off.

To the people in this thread I did over estimate the capabilities if this subwoofer by thinking it could take 2 soundstreams strapped. It will burp at 3400rms but when I put this on 5k the smell after 10 seconds of play was enough to know it wasn't going to take it. For daily I'm only going to use 1 Soundstream Rub2500 at 1ohm and for comps 2 soundstreams wired to 2 ohms a piece at 1700 rms a piece. 3400 total at 14.4 but I'm at 13 so more like 3000. I will be building this woofer up after the coil goes to better suite my needs.

My buddy wants to go big with this and do 4 3512's lol so he bought a nice prefab box thats 4 cubes and is running it in that until he gets four. Ill get video and numbers as soon as possible should get vid up tonight.
