I have a 2003 Chevy Malibu
I've attached a PAC RP3-GM11 w/chime adapter to the harness coming from the car and then crimped the wires from the adapter to the wires from the aftermarket harness.
All connections are solid and the aftermarket stereo is receiving the 12v constant (I can only eject/insert CDs) but the 12v switched does not work when I turn the ignition to ACC (No Sound, Nothing shows on screen etc...)
I've checked the fuse on the radio
I know the radio itself is not the problem because I was able to install it into my cousins Corolla and everything was working.
Also while I have the aftermarket stereo connected, the car will crank and start but then stalls immediately (Passlock Issue?). This does not happen when I reconnect the OEM stereo.
The aftermarket stereo is a Pyle Pro PLD75MU
Has anyone else had a similar issue with late 90s/early 00s GM vehicles?
Any suggestions before I give up and take it to the dealer?
