0 guage wire???

hey guys what is better a kenwoood kdc 789 head unit or a kdc 889 head unit and what would hit higher one 15 l7 with a kx1200 or 2 15 l7s with a kx1200 thanks

Guys, I just ordered some "swatches" of wire from weldingsupply.com and the wire seems to be much smaller then what I am used to. The 1/0 gauge wire was much smaller than the Stinger 1/0 gauge I have in my car right now, the only type of wire that was comparable to my Stinger 1/0 gauge was the welding supply 4.0 gauge. Do any of you know of any reason why the wire would not be comparable in size (Diameter)?

Can anyone answer my question above?

I am working on one with pictures //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Do you know how many strands are in the 1/0 welding cable you have received from them? It should be near 1048 or so if they use 30 gauge copper.

The shipping department actually gave me a phone number to call so I did, and the guy told me that the 4/0 gauge wire has 2,014 strands of 30 gauge copper wire. Seems rather low to me, but then again I don't know how that might compare to the industry standard of 1/0 gauge that uses 36 gauge copper? What do you think?

I would assume the best choice would be whatever one makes you start your own thread. I dunno what made you think this was eventhe right place to post that it isn't even on topic.

That yeilds a number just under American Wire Gauge Standard for 4/0 (like 5% under their rating for 4/0) The cable should be larger then audio cable since it would have more air between strands, still working on the pics......

I look forward to seeing the pics.
