0.5 Ohm Stable Amps!!!

There is ALOT of amps that will handle a .5ohm load. With the fact that the DCR of the coils is most-likely higher than the advertised load. That combined with impendance rise, you would mostlikely be able to run just about any 1ohm amp.

Ive ran the KX1200's @ .6 for a full Texas summer in my trunk w/o problems and the x-fire 1000d's were currently using dont have a problem. Hell, my VR2000 is 2ohm stable and burps at .8 w/o problems.

Look into getting an amp per coil, or a pair of small strappable amps if you are unsure of running the 1ohm amps too low.

Yeah i dont like modded amps unless I know the person who did the modifying. Oh Inhuman Acura, sick car! What brand rims are those? I might go with an amp per coil. That would be sick, 5 amps in my car!

Modded..Your risking your money going up in smoke at ANY load...Nothing but bad experiences with EQ products. People either love em' or hate em'...
If you have a adequite charging system that will not drop below 11volts then they will be fine.

I know that a D2 will do 0.5ohm unmodded.
