depending on your car you can do a setup like this guy's Keith's 6 OA-12s on an NS-1 - YouTube should be plenty loud and low if thats what your going for

For ur info i said seal the 4 subs in the backseat off and cut a hole in the rear deck to let the sound come in from the trunk u kno like a port

still wont work right. You are going to get mega cancellation. i wanted to do 4 15's a trunk, 2 facing away, 2 facing towards, found out about cancellation, said forget it.

2 quality 12s in the trunk on a decent amount of power will probably outperform and definitely sound better.

I apologize for being harsh, it is just that 90% of people come on to the forum looking for advice, then after reading the advice, they don't listen anyways. As mentioned, you're idea is not a good one. If you have the proper space in your trunk for 4 12s (which is unlikely), you could go that route. What kind of power are you planning on running? Have you thought about the electrical upgrades you will need if you run more than ~1500 watts?

The chances of that working out well are about as good as the chances of rolling five sevens in a row.

I would seriously consider putting some thought into a well designed and built ported box for fewer subs. Unless of course, you're building some gawdy show car the doesn't actually need any sound quality.

Contrary to what most people think, it isn't all about cone area.
