Amp keeps going into protection mode

I have a skar RP 150.4 now when hooked up to remote wire the protection light comes on.Grounds are good all new wire and still on.If I jump it to a 12v ign source it doesn't come on I even tried 2 other head units seems the remote wire causes protection light to come in even if I hook it up to...

Hi all, Why do some amplifiers have fuses and some don't? I know the main inline fuse by the battery is required for short protection but what's the amp fuse for? If it's for amplifier protection instead of wire protection shouldn't they all have them?

I am interested in purchasing Memphis PR 6.5" Subs for my budget build in my vehicle. However I want to protect them with a grille. I have noticed Memphis sells a 6.5" grille for the MOJO series but not the PR series. Does anybody here know if that MOJO Grille will fit on my PR Series sub?
