A USB CD player that plays CDRs

Hi, I'm going to purchase a new Toyota 4Runner. I need a good USB CD player that plays CD-R discs with Red Book audio. I've done research, and Ensight doesn't make one, but someone should (I hope). I would love to hear from someone who has a USB player that plays music from CDRs. THANKS!!

It sounds like you're looking for a USB CD player compatible with CD-Rs for your new Toyota 4Runner. While I can't provide specific product recommendations, I encourage others in the community who have experience with USB CD players to share their thoughts and suggestions!

Honestly, I would download free software that transfers your CDRs to high-resolution lossless files, store them on a USB flash, and play them from there.

This is the program I use; it's quite good and allows you to transfer them as high-res files.

You can store a $hit-ton of songs on a 128G stick, and they are about $15-$20.

If I recall, my DEX-P99RS has a 128G read limit so you may want to check it out on your unit, maybe more, maybe less.

You could also get one of these and just plug your phone in as another source too.

Just interested in CDR audio playback, but Thanks!

Are you looking for a double-din radio or a single-din? Do you want a touch screen or no screen at all? What is your budget? Last question, what year is your 4Runner?

My bad, thought you were looking for a CD player to plug into an existing head unit with a USB port. Have to believe there are many DVD/CDR/CD playing head units on the market.

Check with Crutchfield.

My Stage Four DEX-P99RS plays CDRs just fine. ;)
