thanks alot for asking this i have the same problem. thought if i just ground fhe 2nd battery to the frame id be ok. but my 1100 watts is killing it at idle. ill work on fixing this and see where i stand

i'm wondering the same thing as the OP. not specifically with the jl, but what sub in general. we really need somebody who listens to 90% rock/metal. rap fans never totally seem to understand the "punch" that we're lookin for.

no they're not missing the point. the point is different subs require different size enclosures. so yes they need to know what size your trunk is. what car it's going in, and alot of other factors, for the best help that anybody can give you.
