hey fellas. so ive never done any customizing. ive added subs radio speakers and amps but ive never constructed anything besides a sub box. so im wanting to make a new center console and maybe put the tweets in the pillars. my question is. i know for subs you need 3/4mdf for the strength. for makeing these other things what size wood you use? you use 1/2 cause you dont need the strength for the mids and tweets? im planning on putting my 2nd set focal comps in the side of the console. also use it to house the crossovers, mount volatage gauge and bass knob.. another question i never see anybody make room for mids. does size of the enclosure do anything for mids?
