    0 gauge wire diameter

I think strand count only affects flexibility. However, if you can get the strand count, and the diameter of a single strand...then you can get overall cross-sectional area of the copper and compare it to the standard for solid copper wire.

Has your amp ever 'missed' it's cue?

I think that actually happened to me once. But that was before with my old crappy head unit...hasn't happened since I got decent equipment and reinstalled everything

    Songs @35hz?

Not very extended periods of time...but playing sine waves for extended periods of time is never a good idea.

little issue putting 4 sets of comps up front

Okay Audio Master. Whatever you say. You are the Audio Master after all. You'll probably get 500 watts x2 at 4 ohms with that amp. If you have 4 sets of components... Then on each side you should have 2 crossovers in series and 2 more crossovers in series, then put those sets in parallel with...

    my finished setup....

Very nicely done. Clean and thourough. I bet it sounds great too. I like the idea of the dash sliding face thing to hide the HU. I wish I had that so I wouldn't have to remove my faceplate every time I park.

    Strange Noise Sound!!!!!!!

How high is the gain on your amp?

    routing amp to fronts components?

That's just lazy. If the impedance of your speaker wire is more than 10% (5% preferably) than the impedance of your speaker then you will get audible effects on frequency response. Using stock wiring, which lengthens the run, is a great way to dramatically increase resistance of the wire.

    routing amp to fronts components?

Open your car door and you should see a black rubber boot covering the wires going into the door. Find where this opening is in your car. Run the speaker wires underneath the door trim or carpet up to the front of the cabin and into this hole into the door. Ohh...wait...Accord. You might have...

How did it all start for you? this is how it all started for me...

I was into home theater first. I helped my dad build a couple subs for my home theater and did a lot of surround sound setup. My dad is really into speaker and sub design and builds speaker boxes and crossovers in his spare time. Once I bought my car I immediately put in some crappy replacement...

    Has anyone tried this?

Well, I suppose the current going to the rear battery has less wire to go through....and the wire going from the alt to the front battery has to pass less current. So in theory it would actually be better in my opinion to do it his way. But I don't have a ton of experience hooking up extra...

    Will this sound decent?

Oops, I thought you were asking me how many speakers I had...nevermind then....

    Will this sound decent?

You have coaxes or components in your doors and you have components on your dash...hmm...I doubt your imaging is good. I was going to say putting full range speakers between the seats will ruin your imaging. But I think it's ruined already, so go for it.

Not sure if this is a wiring problem or what but any help would be great.

Check all your fuses. if it was hooked up correctly there should be a fuse on your power wire close to the battery. It might look good, but try replacing it anyway.

Sony Explode 6x9's on the TL PIC

Actually it's a 6 decibel drop every time you double the distance But cars have too many reflections and the effect of cabin gain for that to be useful. It is, however, useful when setting up and planning large concert systems
