as the title says i'm wanting to buy some ID CTX65cs new preferably.

did everything you said still there. the only time it's gone is if i take the deck out of the dash.

are u using the factory deck or aftermarket? do you have another amp you can test with

JUST to make sure i'd give metra and scosche a call to validify it.

the rca's down the middle of the car the power is on teh driver side. i take the hu out of the dash and the noise went down. the sony unit has a copper chassis i thought that was suppose to stop that.

i checked all my grounds and they are good grounds. i used a dmm to check them. this sony is nothing like pioneer. i've tried elminating the xover and i still have the noise. a friend said that it's caused by EMI. any idea what that is?

i have a sony cd90 old unit. going to a xover coustic xm7e then going to 2 amps a ppi 404 and a punch 200ix. then it goes to some vibe audio comps. i have this noise kinda like a static that i can't locate.

what type of sound are you lookin for? how are your front speakers installed? i'm guessing your one of those use to the "surround sound"

are you talkin v2 or v3? 600 watts would be good on them but as hoodlum said headroom is nice. i have a friend with the v3 ran off a Q1200.1 at one ohm and they love it.

make urself a muting plug lets see if it's the amp, the deck, or the rca. to make a muting plug take an old rca cut off an end leave enough wire to work with. take the center wire and twist it with the outer wire. you have made a muting plug. put it in the amp and see if the noise continues. let...

that car has the same engine as mine it has a factory 105 amp alt you could do a big 3 bigger front bat and additional batt in back.
