i just got my 6x9 400 watt audio bahn speakers.. do i need crossovers between my amp and speakers?..

im afraid i have no idea what a cross over, please give me a lamen terms explanation so i can have an idea what they are and what they are used for. thanks car audio staff!

im afraid i dont know the ohms. all i know is they are 2 12'' audio bahns... with 400 watts each and they have 2 positives and 2 negatives on each sub... i think the guy that did it last time hooked the positve to the negative then so on. positve ---------- negative 2nd...

where do i ground the rca's negative? to amp, car frame, im confused on how to ground them with the limited distance they give us on the rca cords also... can i add regular speaker wire to give me more to work with or what? thx

my amp can bridge 2 channels at 900 watts which is enough cause my 2 audio bahn subs are only 400 a piece and they have 2 positves and 2 negatives on each of them what do u mean by VC conviguration?

what do u mean as a remote lead? whats a lead? and should i ground them?

do all rca plugs have a negative comming off of them.... i have a rca wire with a red and white that plug into the amp but then it also has a thin black wire sticking out of it on both ends... do i need these or not?
