I have a alpine pdx 1.1000 and i want to wire it to 2 alpine type R's at 1 ohm. will each type R get half the rated rms?(which is 1000w x 1 @ 2 or 4 ohms). i dont even know if you can wire it at 1 ohm it doesnt mention you can but ive seen a pdx 1.1000 set up at 8 ohms between 4 subs and it...

Im Starting on building a box for my silverado extended cab and i want to build it rite. i kno the cubic inches is supose to be 1.50 and its just measured by the air space left inside the box. but i dont know anything about what it means by what the box is tuned to.

Any other opinions on it?

Yeah im starting to find that out lol none of the prefab boxs come close to the cu. inchs the 10w7's need. Ive built acouple regular sqaure boxs i guess ill just have to do my homework to build this one.

Ives always heard that it doesnt matter much in sealed boxs like you said but with ported boxs if the cu.ft is precise it pushes the woofer harder with the better air flow.

Im not even worried about the size but the size does effect what the subwoofer hits best. I just wanted to kno if anyone knew any good sites that had ported truck boxs

My 10w7 is spec'd for 1.5 ported ann 1.25 sealed. I cant even find any ported boxes to fit my truck but the biggest sealed i found was .90 cu. ft i think. If i used that box how much would my sub under preform?

Id like to just get a premade box for my 2 10w7's because the design for underneath my back seats is a little complicated. I cant find one place or site that has dual ported 10" box that would fit my truck. Ive found plenty of sealed but i listen to mostly rap and rock and i know 10's are...

I have 2 boxes i wanted to put some carpet on to make them look nice but the wood on the corners of my boxes is chipped at parts so i cant stretch the carpet all to a even point. is there a good way to fix this problem?
