    low wattage, high output?

Hi, I recently got a different car (2007 Honda Accord Ex-L 3.0L v6), and I'm transferring my sound system into it. I don't have a lot of amperage to play with regarding the stock alternator (130A), so I've been looking into low-watt subwoofers and the possibility of building a quality ported...

    Amp Tuning

I have a Pioneer DEH-8400BH head unit, dunno what a processor is. I had the volume 3/4 of max. And no i didn't. I calculated the volts I needed as 17.8 and put it a little under that just incase. I never exceed volume 45. I guess I was just wondering what to set my HPF to on my amp but you...

How would I go about getting these to fit...

Sweet so really... If the actual woofers are the same in diameter as the stock woofers, all I'd need is a mounting Bracket that screws into the door to hold the speaker... And some deadening material for the doors...

How would I go about getting these to fit...

By mounting brackets I meant the cone shaped piece of plastic that the speaker sits in? Is that what you're thinking about? Is it really needed? If I can get the speaker in the door securely with and MDF spacer is there really anything else needed to hold it in place or anything?

Such thing as too much headroom?

So hey, I have JBL P660C 90w RMS @ 2 ohms component speakers for my 1999 honda accord. I am wondering if there is such thing as too much head room when searching for an amp? I have to choose between these two amps: Hifonics ZRX500.2 and Hifonics BRX160.2. The first is 250w RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms, and...

How many watts can my car handle?

Hey guys, I have a 1999 Honda Accord EX 4 cyl 2.3L. I was wondering how to find out how many amps my car's alternator has(or can handle). I also have a question. Say it had about 80 amps. Does that mean I have 80 amps to run my car audio system on? Or do i have to reserve some for other...

    Speaker Sensitivity?

Hey, So I don't really know how to gauge speaker sensitivity. I've been reading up on it and I have a question. If I have speakers that are 90 watts RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms, and I get a 2 channel amp that is 100 watts RMS x 2 @ 2 ohms, but the speakers' sensitivity is 94 db, does that mean I can blow...

And do I really need all that wattage on the PPI just for front door speakers? I was hoping I could use it for the sub also.
