Help put two 15s in a Blazer, keep back seat.

I've always had good results from the larger boxes we built with lots of port, and even the smaller 2 cube ones with 6" round ports. Post tax time be expecting a build log. Ran a main power wire yesterday, should be getting to my big three tomorrow. Box for one 15 until the second comes will be...

Help put two 15s in a Blazer, keep back seat.

Made the box and little taller, got 9.56 gross cubes and 7 after a 7x21.5 port tuned to 33hz.

Help put two 15s in a Blazer, keep back seat.

The four 6"s come to 114^2 but 150-175^2 is suggested in the same post, I'm confused; would you mind designing a better one for me Kangaroux?

Help put two 15s in a Blazer, keep back seat.

This won't be my first box build, but it will be my first of this size. Will be trying to keep my back seats but if not, oh well. This will be my post tax time build, trying to get all my ducks in a row. Two door blazer, two AQ HDC3 15s, one AQ 3500D. The space I have to work in is 37" wide...

    Enclosure Design

That seems like an awfully small amount of port for that box much less for a 15, but I also don't know a lot. Also, you didn't tell us how long the port is. Maybe less port area works for an SQ based sub like the Q? But still, that isn't even a whole 10^2 per cube.

    Hi everyone!

You might could try some rocker panel texture, comes in a spray can and comes out looking like well... rocker panels with that paint chip protection deal going on. Sorry for my lack of technical terms but its a nice even texture that's not to hard on the eye balls. Btw, it sprays on clear so...

    Steel woofer enclosure

I didn't even think about it resonating, yeah. Maybe you would be best off to just cover a nice wood box with some nicely finished thin gauge metal. I'm far from saying don't do it, I love new things.

    Steel woofer enclosure

That is going to be quite a heavy box, thought I'm sure it will look pretty neat. I'd day use lots and lots of dynamat and brace at least the bigger sides together.

Help with box for two 12s.

Sweet, and doing that leaves me plenty of power for future use. You sir have helped immensely in this. Its been far too long since I did any of this. I did do a little port calculating and came to I think ~28" length for two 6" round ports in a 4.5 cube box for a 32hz tune. That part was always...

Help with box for two 12s.

Site says 4300@1ohm and 2600@2ohm. I figure it to likely be underrated by at least a little. I do try to keep my sup wires short and thick

Help with box for two 12s.

18 is slightly more cone area, by like 26^2 inches over two 12s. If comparing the same two subs then the 18 would be a clear win except for power handing since it's not getting split between two and I can't seem to find a sub that would be happy with my hopes of 4k. What about running the AQ at...

Help with box for two 12s.

I've gotten nice results from two 10s in my trunk car and suv, but just two of them doesn't have the ground pounder feel that I'm looking for here. Could we go back to my original two 12s, bunch of power and low tune? TBH here, I said before about competing but I couldn't care less if it put up...

Help with box for two 12s.

Precisely, so then maybe two nightshade 12s? I really want to run an AQ3500. Two 15s doesn't sound plausible in only 5 cubes after all the displacements come out, or should I stick with the one 18 and do less power, like an other AQ2200 that was on my Mayhem? I never got it tested but I'd be...

Help with box for two 12s.

Not mine but same car, to think about it I could probably go a maybe another two inchs in height on the box if I take out the little board thing across the top and just get some tint.
