Made the box and little taller, got 9.56 gross cubes and 7 after a 7x21.5 port tuned to 33hz.

The four 6"s come to 114^2 but 150-175^2 is suggested in the same post, I'm confused; would you mind designing a better one for me Kangaroux?

This won't be my first box build, but it will be my first of this size. Will be trying to keep my back seats but if not, oh well. This will be my post tax time build, trying to get all my ducks in a row. Two door blazer, two AQ HDC3 15s, one AQ 3500D. The space I have to work in is 37" wide...

That seems like an awfully small amount of port for that box much less for a 15, but I also don't know a lot. Also, you didn't tell us how long the port is. Maybe less port area works for an SQ based sub like the Q? But still, that isn't even a whole 10^2 per cube.

You might could try some rocker panel texture, comes in a spray can and comes out looking like well... rocker panels with that paint chip protection deal going on. Sorry for my lack of technical terms but its a nice even texture that's not to hard on the eye balls. Btw, it sprays on clear so...

Holy shiz bawls that's a fugly mugshot! And to think that putting some makeup on makes that pokeable is insane...

I didn't even think about it resonating, yeah. Maybe you would be best off to just cover a nice wood box with some nicely finished thin gauge metal. I'm far from saying don't do it, I love new things.

Site says 4300@1ohm and 2600@2ohm. I figure it to likely be underrated by at least a little. I do try to keep my sup wires short and thick

18 is slightly more cone area, by like 26^2 inches over two 12s. If comparing the same two subs then the 18 would be a clear win except for power handing since it's not getting split between two and I can't seem to find a sub that would be happy with my hopes of 4k. What about running the AQ at...
