I thought it was best to have as short of a ground as possible?

Figured I could just hijack for a question along the same lines as this. Am I remembering incorrectly or is it better to ground each component on a different part of the vehicle? I'm wondering if I could go with a ground terminal for my amps or are those not advised?

Btw, about the sub. Seems pretty nice. I was looking into some of their smaller speakers (5"s for midranges) and they looked to be of good quality.

Noob question. What are you going to do with the 8 ohm impedance of the woofer? Will you have to wire it as 8 ohm? Or just feed it less power at 4 ohm?

I'm no expert. But I would have saved a bit more for a better amp....

So I was thinking about alternatives to the MLV that you can buy because it is expensive and expensive to ship so what I came up with was a rubber door mat... I am planning on going and finding one that is nice and heavy and see how the weight compares with MLV sq ft to sq ft. Should have some...
