Hi, found this on a google search, did you ever figure out the solution? My sister has this same radio with this same issue, everything works except radio. Not even static and no buttons to change bands light up.

it doesn't play dvd's... just cd and navi dvd's

thats the problem... it's the blue/white wire not the blue one... if there is no blue/white wire hook it to red as stated above...

unplug the harness in your car... cut the panasonic end off... splice in your eclipse harness... plug back into car... all done

as far as the factory alarm, it says "factory alarm disarm," is there usually a wire that comes off the remote start that will disarm the factory alarm when the remote start is activated? as far as your ignition harness wiring... 12v = red... and i think red/white or maybe both are red...

depends... fuse box... at the bottom of a dash panel... next to the led... zip tied high up in the dash... zip tied low in the dash... just look around everywhere... the plug is a blue 2 pin plug that plugs into the alarm... now for the neutral safety switch... its a black & grey wire usually

valet switch is a small black push button... but depends on the installer where it was put or if there is even one there... it sounds like the neutral safety switch is not connected properly or is not grounded

look into the cavity and see if you see the harness stuffed into the right side of the radio hole... usually down lower or against the wall...

upgrade big 3 under the hood... you seem to have problems with everything... so i'd rerun speaker wires... rca's... redo your whole power wire... i'd run 1/0 gauge back to a distro block and then split it off to your amps from that... run new rca's... run new speaker wire as well

i have the pioneer cd-ib100... and using it with an avic-n1... it sux horribly... then again it didn't say the avic-n1 was "Ipod Ready" it just uses it as an external source and scrolls through everything really slow... one of my installers has an alpine iva-d310 and the kca-420i interface and...

try wiring each speaker 2 it's own channel instead of bridging it @ 2 ohms... see if the noise goes away then... but if you disconnected rca's & still noise... and you try wiring them 2 their own channel & still noise... and you've regrounded the amp over and over... then it seems 2 me...

like said above... hook blue/white to the amp remote... hook blue to power antenna... read the owner's manual for any additional information on that... and yeah if ur using an eq i'd just use the front preouts... aux in is... an input not an output... for like an ipod or dvd or something... but...

take out the rear dome light... run the wires through the headliner and out the side... if there is not domelight cut a hole... actually i slit a + in the headliner with a razor blade and run my wires through that... find a beam there... mount the mounting plate 2 the beam... and after you run...

they work just as well as the others... it's magnetic... just put it on top of the roof... run the wire around your windshield and under the weatherstripping into the car
