Ok, I understand now. Thanks, a lot! The amplifier has 2 channels, not 4(I was thinking about the number of wires when i wrote), so I only have to set the rear to full range and connect the RCAs. Anyway, the topic can be closed/deleted and thank you, again, for explaining things!

It seems you were right, after resetting the bass eq and the gain it doesnt power off anymore. However, it still gets kind of hot, possibly also due to the low quality speaker. Anyway, problem solved, thanks for your help!

Ok, gonna try tomorrow.I set the gain to about half and the boost to 0.

It's mounted vertically on it's side, the wires are 8GA, the ground is fine i think, you can't really say the air is moving over it, but it has the entire trunk to cool, bass boost is @ about 3db, gain-aproximately 90% and the subwoofer has 4 ohms impedance.

I have a Magnat amplifier (http://www.car-sound.ro/The_Rock_800-p234.html) used in the 3 channel mode, powering 2 SAL speakers, which have aprox. 50W rms each, wired in paralel with 2 no name tweeters (+4.5 condensators) and a Dibeisi subwoofer ( i have no ideea how many W it has..max. 150rms)...

I think it depends what country you`re in .Most people say that sony cdx 3350 doesnt skip. Well, in 3 to 4cm ( |_____________|) deep holes in the asphalt it does skip.

It isn't hard at all, all you need to know is what a specific wire is used for. Then you just have to match the wires and that`s that. If you have a car which hasn't got a space designed for a HU and thus no wires at all(my case), you must first get 1 fairly thick wire for + and - and connect...
