an HU is not made for spl purposes, mainly sq. me out of those, i'd go with alpine but you mention nothing about model numbers. each brand of those have excellent HUs but it all depends on which ones.

Yeah, the sq on pretty much all brands comes pretty close when you move toward the high end. It usually comes down to price, flexibility, and whether you're going to use built in crossovers/eq or a seperate box.
