well there are two differnt theroies, one fared per 1000 watts but alumapro insists its one fared per 100 watts. I think that alumapro is right but a bigger alternator is the only sure fire way to get better louder sound

They are very clean well put together amps, I would say that my jl 500/1 hits almost as hard as the MTX 8100D that is 1000 watts. They sound nice too, the JL 300/4 and 300/2 are also very nice and good sounding. But the RIPS circuit that makes so they will put out the same wattage over 1.5 ohms...

Well I have 2 12 alpine R-types a JL 500/1 These are with rolling bass songs so im sure its good. I defeted the crossovers on the amp by setting them to off. Does this help?

He got ripped off, I wouldnt pay anything for a fosgate amp they are allright but very dirty, Im just not a fan of them, I would have gone with a xtant 1000 watt chrome amp. Just my opinion.

what would you say thou to thoes that say they have horrid sound quality and blow very easily, Ill agree that they can blow easy, think about it, a circle magnet circle cone circle everything and then a square cone, that produces weak points, Just my opinion.
