Does anyone know the most common frequency that a bass drum hits at or is this too broad of a range to generalize. I was thinking about getting an 8 inch sub and tuning its box so that it will hit hardest at that frequency. Any info or ideas will help. thanks

i think the 2 15 se is probably a good choice. i got to ten inch se in a ported box with abou 4 cubes for each sub and they get pretty loud. with the 15s you should be able to put up some good numbers if you install it right. if you never done an install before get someone to help you.

i have a lanzar optidrive 1000w monoblock amp. so if i did it that way i guess i would still have a 1 ohm load. thats what i'm not sure about.

ok, ive seen the diagrams for wiring two dual voice coil subs in parallel. my amp has two positive terminal and two negative terminals. so could i wire each sub in parallel separately. would i still get a one ohm load if the both subs have dual 4 ohm voice coils

i know how to wire speakers to an amplifier in parallel but i dont know how to wire each individual speaker in parallel. any help will be appreciated. thanks

just because adire recomends 1.25 cubic feet doesnt mean you cant go bigger. if you have the room you probably should. go to http://www.linearteam.org and download winISDpro if you want a program that will tell you the exact dimensions for a box for your needs. it helps a lot

ok, so the auto antenna wire on the head unit doesnt need to be connected to anything?i guess the auto antenna and power antenna arent related. and those other wires that dont need to be connected-can i just leave them the way they are when i install the h/u

i'm installing my new cd player in my 97 gmc yukon. i'm soldering the wires from the back of the cd player to the wiring harness i bought. ive finished soldering all the speaker wires but now i have three wires left on my cd player and 4 wires left on my wiring harness. i'm not sure which...
