    I'd go with one ten or a couple of 8's...even w/ the heaviest of those subs you won't notice a difference...unless you're racing le mans or something.

    A ground loop is possible...but go ahead and ground them differently and if some wierd stuff happens try grounding them to the same spot.

    JBL 600.1 at 1 ohm? stable?

    i know of 3 people, including myself, who run 600.1 at 1 ohm on a daily basis w/o a problem.

    jbl 600.1 is 205 shipped at etronics.com it'd only be 300W at 4 ohms, but i think that'd be your best bet for decent power.

    The first problem is tough and could take some thinking about. The second problem could be related to your wire locations. The power inverter is putting a lot of power into the ps2 and if that power wire is run near the RCAs for your amp then it could be causing noise in the line. Try moving...

    it wouldn't be battery b/c as soon as the car comes on the alt takes over, so it could be the alt. 9 times outta 10 it's the fuel pump, or so my experience tells me...which isn't a lot.

    drop the neon, save your money for some actual power and race someone who thinks you're slow. go for intake, intake manifold, throttle body, complete exhaust upgrade(headers, downpipe, catback system), some nice tires, short shifter, if you have the money for gas- fuel injectors and fuel rail...
