The RE Q so far hasnt given me any noise in the installs I have done, including in dodge vehicles so that shouldnt be a concern, it is a less flexible piece as the 360 and the cleansweep both have more options, but the MTX piece does its job well

I have a pioneer 6800DVD and I like it. It looks good and the fact that its a 6 disc in dash changer is nice as well

I havent been a huge fan of them for the last couple years, but the current punch amps from Rockford are nice for a small package. I have been using them in a bunch of stealth installs this year and cant say enough about them. They have exceeded expectations every time I used them

What is the fuse rating in the Amp?

I wouldnt trade my Pioneer 6800 6 disc indash DVD for anything right now. But I also despise Ipod and MP3 so the 6 disc was a HUGE selling point for me. The Kenwood stuff is absolutly amazing too, fantastic picture and probally the best user interface on the market in my opinion

There arent bad shops, there are bad installers, keep that in mind. As far as sueing, its in YOUR best case to not let this go to court. Best Buy has a legal department with full time lawyers on staff who's only job is to make sure their ass is covered. Im not saying dont contact a lawyer, but...

Wait a sec, maybe I read that wrong, are you saying its too expensive for you or are you just saying that you were expecting to be able to do it for alot less, too very different things, either way I still stand by the Alpine piece being your best bet

The reason I asked is because your port looks like it has a ripple in the edge and that could cause some nasty port noise if not taken care of

Im sorry to sound like a dick here but if you cant afford that alpine piece than how are you gonna be able to pay to fix that thing when it needs repair. That alpine piece is definatly your best option so I guess I would suggest start saving for it

I always found that at lower volumes they were fine but as soon as I started to push them at all everything went to hell

Just so you know, every Jensen flip out I have installed or sold sounds like **** in my opinion. I dont know what the actuall distortion level on the preouts are but I would bank on it being high

Keep in mind that when you venture of the internet to the masses, companies like Fi hold no traction. Average customers are more likely to buy a name they have heard of like RF over a name they havent. There is a reason why companies like MTX still will continue to outsell the internet darlings...

I have a previous gen Orion HCCA 425 that I use as my shop amp now after I retired my last competion vehicle. I couldnt bare to put it out to pasture completly. That amp has hundreds of hours of playtime on it and some real abuse as well (1/4ohm mono burps on each pair of channels for comps )...
